Privacy Policy
How CJH Architecture collects, uses, and protects your personal data. Plain language, no jargon. Last updated January 2025.
Who we are
CJH Architecture is a UK-based architectural practice. We are the data controller for personal information you submit through this website. Registered in England and Wales.
What data we collect
We collect only what is needed to respond to your enquiry: your name, phone number, email address, and a description of your project. No additional data is collected without your explicit consent.
How we use your data
Your information is used solely to respond to your enquiry and, where a project proceeds, to manage our working relationship. We do not use it for marketing without your separate consent.
Our legal basis (UK GDPR)
We process enquiry data under legitimate interests — specifically, responding to a request you have initiated. Project data is processed under contractual necessity. We do not rely on consent as the sole basis for processing.
Third parties and data sharing
Your data is never sold or shared with third parties for marketing. We may share information with professional consultants directly involved in your project, and with our IT service providers under data processing agreements.
How long we keep your data
Enquiry data is retained for 12 months. Project records are retained for seven years in line with standard professional practice obligations. You may request deletion at any time for enquiry records.
Cookies
This website uses essential cookies required for operation and, with your consent, analytics cookies to understand how visitors use the site. You can manage or withdraw cookie consent at any time via the cookie banner or by contacting us.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or erase your data, to restrict or object to processing, and to data portability. To exercise any right, contact us at hello@cjharchitecture.co.uk. You may also lodge a complaint with the ICO at ico.org.uk.
